Our Complete Service Schedule

Fertilizer Application Program

Mid-February:

A powerful high nitrogen slow-release granular fertilizer packs strong spring punch to green-up your lawn early in the season. Included in this application is a heavy dose of pre-emergent to prevent any weed seeds from germination; including both broad leaf weeds and crabgrass. This pre-emergent is the strongest available and lasts about six months. This application is vital to the health of your property since it provides nutrients needed for your lawn homogenized with a chemical to prevent weeds from growing in your lawn.

Late May/Early June:

A broadleaf weed killer is applied at this time of the year to kill any weeds in the lawn. It is possible that some weeds may have gotten past the February application or may had already existed in your lawn before the application; therefore this application for those weeds.

Mid-September – Mid-October:

Although this service is optional, it is extremely recommended at this time. Our process includes core-aerating the lawn thoroughly (two times). Following the aeration process, over-seeding takes place with our high quality tall-type 5-type fescue mix, manufactured for the conditions of our area. Our fast-release starter fertilizer immediately provides the existing grass, along with the new grass, nutrients and chemicals desired during this vital time of the year.

Late November / Early December:

The final application of the year is widely known as a winterizer. We offer this application to provide nutrients to your lawn and prevent disease during the winter months. Although fescue grows best at temperatures between 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit, this slow-release application will provide your lawn with nutrients it needs when we hit the occasional warm spells during these months as we sometimes get in this area. With this application you may also notice your lawn green-up much faster than others in the spring, since the chemicals needed for your lawn will already be in the soil for your lawn when it needs it in the early spring.
